Open for business

Dear friends, Exactly a week ago today we temporarily closed the doors of our wonderful new office in Basinghall Street.  Having only been there since the New Year, you could still smell the new carpets and the excitement of coming into our modern, agile, hot-desking environment was palpable each day. We love our new office.  But in these rapidly changing times, we have all settled into our new way of working from home (something most of us were doing to some degree anyway). One of the joys of our office move was a complete upgrade of our IT – new laptops, access to our database via our phones, apps for conference calls, to name but a few improvements.  This means we can communicate with our clients and colleagues with ease, and continue to deliver our services as normal.  A week into Covid-19 restrictions, some business activity has dropped. Like us, our clients are nervous until there is more certainty. That said, we have made placements, taken on new roles and we continue to arrange interviews - click here to view our latest jobs. Those who were due to begin their new jobs on Monday all started and their remote onboarding has now kicked off!  Here at Totum we are privileged to have great relationships with lots of firms of different sizes. At times like this, we hope we can offer some extra assistance, whether this relates to us creating virtual networks of people with similar challenges or whether it’s simply acting as a sounding board on an individual issue.
